When it comes to investing in fire protection, it’s not enough to simply seek out the lowest price—at least not if you truly care about your community’s safety.
Although your budget will always play a factor in your investments, selecting fire protection valves means weighing features, specs, quality, design and more.
But the good news is, you don’t have to weigh all of those factors alone anymore. Joe is here to help.
Joe Cupp is our resident fire products expert extraordinaire, and he’s available to help you choose the best fire products for your system. And because we know how awkward it can be to reach out to someone without having been introduced, we sat down with Joe to help you get to know him a little better.
So, without further ado, meet Joe.
Joe, what is your role at Singer Valve?
I’m the Fire Valve Manager for the Eastern U.S., and I work out of our Charlotte, N.C., facility.
How long have you been with Singer Valve?
I have been with Singer for over three years.
In your role, how do you help our customers?
I help customers with specifications, application questions—ensuring they get the right valve for the application. I also assist with pricing and quotations, and order entry to make sure the process runs as smoothly as possible.
What kind of delivery times do you usually quote?
In Charlotte, we stock a full range of certified fire valves. That means we can usually ship within 24 to 48 hours.
Once a valve has shipped and has been installed, can customers still reach out to you?
Of course. They’re always welcome to call me with operating and maintenance questions—or just to say “hello!”—and I’m always happy to help. We want everyone who invests in a Singer Valve product to enjoy a trouble-free experience. We offer training classes here in Charlotte to help customers feel completely comfortable with our products, and to get the most from their investment.
So, Joe, on a personal note—what do you do for fun?
I enjoy bass and trout fishing.
