Singer Valve is proud to hold a wide range of regulatory approvals to meet the requirements of your application. Not all regulatory requirements are available in all sizes and model combinations. Singer Valve will provide approval details upon request.

Regulatory requirements must be specified at time of order for correct processing and labelling. Processing fees may apply.

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001 is the International standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations like Mueller Water Products use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide Singer products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Below is a link to ISO 9001 certifications for use by our customers for various locations that produce Singer control valves.

NSF/ANSI 372-2020 for Lead-Free Plumbing Products 

Each product shall bear the appropriate IAPMO R&T certification mark. The product may also bear either “Lead-Free” or “Low Lead” above or in close proximity to the IAPMO R&T certification mark.

NSF/ANSI/CAN 61-2020 for Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects 

Each product shall be permanently and legibly marked with the manufacturer’s name or trademark. The product may also be marked with the standard designation “NSF/ANSI 61”

ASSE 1003-2020 and CSA B356-2010 for Valves (Pressure Regulating) 

Manufacturer’s name or trademark, flow direction arrow or marking size, reduced pressure range, and the cUPC® certification mark on the valve body or metal tag.

Singer Valve castings are based on ANSI Class 150 or 300 standards and drilled as per ANSI B16.42 or threaded NPT. Class 150 are machined flat faced while class 300 are machined raised face. ANSI standard dimensions are presented in this catalogue in US Units (inches) and Metric Units (millimetres). Also available are ANSI flanges drilled to ISO 2531 / BS4504 PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, or threaded BSPT. ISO standard dimensions are presented in the product catalogue in US Units (inches) and Metric Units (millimetres). Australian Standard AS4087 machined to Class 16 or Class 35.
